WELCOME TO THE SURRY HOUSEThe Surry House is an informal Bed and Breakfast in Surry, New Hampshire. Personal attention offering comfort and service, your home away from home. (Pet friendly.) A relaxing atmosphere, good food and the promise of a good night's sleep. In the Monadnock Region, near the college town of Keene, NH, there are many outdoor activities: hiking, picnicking, shopping, antiquing, x-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, swimming, and boating. The Surry House has the perfect room for you - singles, couples, families or friends, and vacationers.
Long term lodging is also available at a reasonable cost.

| The Rose Room is a large airy bedroom with a king-size bed with comfy linens, cozy comforters and fluffy pillows all surrounded by the soft, rich and restful colors of the radience of the rose. The cost is $120 per day plus a New Hampshire lodging tax of 9%. For an additional $25 per night (plus tax), you can have a queen size air mattress which can accommodate 2 children. |

DIRECTIONS:
From Massachusetts and Vermont: Take 91 North to Route 10, Exit 28A. Bear right off exit and continue on to Keene, New Hampshire. At intersection turn left and then right at next light (Route 9).
Follow Route 12 to Walpole. Take Maple Avenue exit 12A, turn right, go straight to Surry.
Pass the school and rock ledge. Turn right on Crain and right on Village. 2nd house on left.

The Region is noted for its scenic towns and villages that offer the traditional New England experience. Discover uncrowded lakes and woods for hiking and boating - mountains and meadows for hiking and skiing. Enjoy tax-free shopping at country stores and antique shops.. Surry Mountain Lake offers year round fun for everyone. The recreation area offers a 600 foot long sandy beach, with a swimming area, boat ramp and picnic tables with grills. Swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, canoeing, horseshoes and volleyball are some of the summertime favorite activities enjoyed at Surry Mountain Lake. During the winter, visitors enjoy x-country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. With over 1600 acres of managed land and a 265 acre lake, there is something for everyone at Surry Mountain Lake: hunter, angler, wildlife photographer and birder. In the spring the state stocks trout upstream of the lake and in the fall pheasants are stocked. |
